Creating a User Interface Mockup
Assignment

This exercise is designed to get you to explore the LiveCode IDE (Interactive Development Environment—a fancy term for "The LiveCode Program".)

Using the knowledge and skills you've developed over the last few class days in using the LiveCode interface, LiveCode objects and properties, duplicate, as nearly as possible, the layout of a window of an existing application. Some examples you might consider:

• MS Word 2008 Preferences – Save panel;
• Safari web browser Preferences – Appearance or security panel;
• The Mac OS X Address Book application – entry page for a person in the book;
• The Windows WordPad document window;
• Any other fairly simple window containing several different types of interface control objects (buttons, checkboxes, text fields, icons, etc.)

You are creating an interface only—nothing has to actually work.

When you are finished, drop your stack in the assignment drop folder on the DigHT 210 server. Be sure your name appears in your stackfile name.
